    I found where to download them and did just that.
    Altogether its 456 MB in SVCD format (nice quality) if you like. 43 commericals each rangiing about 10MB and going for 30secs each.

    I loaded some, but I can't get them to play. I loaded the latest divx codec from divxdigest.com but it still doesn't work.

    These are MPEG-2. You will need an MPEG-2 decoder filter to play them back. If you've a PC-DVD Player like PowerDVD it should be installed. Otherwise, you could try an MPEG-2 filter like this.

    I think Media Player Classic has a built in MPEG-2 filter, you could give that a shot.
