Bloom 'set to become' new James Bond

    From digitalspy
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pirates of the Carribean star Orlando Bloom is being lined up as the next James Bond.

Film producers are apparently "desperate" to sign up the 27-year-old as a replacement for Pierce Brosnan, who retires from the role after the next movie.

"They are pulling out all the stops to get him," said a source. "Orlando would be perfect for the part as he's got the looks, the charm, the accent and the high profile that would make Bond even more popular.

"They want to move away from the traditional image of James Bond - the older, suave gentleman - and believe a younger, trendier actor will attract new fans."

A spokesman for Bloom said that "no decision had been made" about the role.

Fake! Peirce Brosnan's website and EON have confirmed Brosnan as Bond in Bond 21-im like 90 percent. And Jude Law and Hugh Jackman are the Bond runnner-ups.

She's just too pretty for Hollywood. I don't know, put her in a glass box and display her at the Metropolitan Museum of Art or something. - Jake on the topic of Scarlett Johansson.

Bloom is a sissy boy. And if he was bond he would be a sissy boy in a tux with a gun...

wuz Pierce Brosnan cool before he wuz Bond? I can't remember...

Every girl I know, except ME, thought Brosnan wuz hot...

It takes the right training, the right look, and the right move to be cool. I can see Bloom as Bond...

There is a problem... isn't Bond supposed to be a middle-aged guy? Unless there's another movie that is about "The Beginning"... that "How Bond became Bond.."
