    To NBA fans

the NBA playoffs start in a couple of days. any fearless forecasts?

from my end, LA can go all the way.

the only thing that will stop them is their own lack of focus and motivation. they have the right mix of people. phil jackson only needs to make sure that they come together as a TEAM (and not just give the ball to one guy and watch him try - and usually fail - to make a shot.

Well, I am not much of an NBA fan, but I would have to go with the team with the best record in the NBA, the Indiana Pacers.

Of course, I am slightly biased since I live about 25 minutes from Conseco Fieldhouse where the Pacers play, but you didn't ask for non-biased opinions.

Big NBA fan - right here...

Indiana Pacers - all the way this year!!! I'm a big Pacers fan since 1997 when Larry Bird - my all-time favourite player - became their coach, and this year again they have a big chance to become champions. I also like the Mavericks, mostly because I like Dirk Nowitzki's game.
We'll see, all the matchups in the First Round are great, especially in the West.
Will talk more as the Playoffs progress. I hope there are more NBA fans here on M-L...

The 2004 Playoffs have just ended. Congratulations to the DETROIT PISTONS, the 2004 NBA Champions! They played really GREAT basketball in the Playoffs and they certainly deserve this title.

...and Ben Wallace, WOW! What a performance in Game 5, simply amazing!

I was rooting for the Lakers of course, me being from sunny California... They had a great year. The Pistons deserved the championship the way they played. Lakers simply lost heart and became desperate.
