what are you getting for mother's day?

Are you buying something special for your mum or wife?

I bought a nice dark red chennille blanket for my mum and i ordered her the "Best of Tears for Fears 82-92" on DVD from amazon.com

And I will fix her breakfast... that is if I get up early enough

Did the shopping earlier today so I wuz wondering if ya'll already did your shopping.

Going to make a framed landscape photo of her favourite place when she was on holiday. Need to contact the local photo shop and see if they could do that. But why should Monday's day be different than any other day. Another media infested holiday.

My wife got her mom a box of rocks.

OK, so they are a set of garden stepping stones, but it is still a box of rocks.

No, rocks. As in stones. They have a nice pattern on them, and they look nice, but it is still a box of rocks.

oh i know i know... i wuz playing. i love the word, rock

i love rocks myself. I have a small collection of them. Calcite, granite basalt, limestone. The limestone has a tiny fossil inside. It is really something. I collected them from Oklahoma. I also found a piece called Quartzite. If I remember correctly, it is a metamorphic rock combined with quartz and sandstone. It is very rare. It was the only piece that was there where I found it. My friends were jealous..

Mom's giving me a haircut... *COUGH* Mama's boy *COUGH*

My mother is not into presents. I tried to buy her something but she always says no need of wasting money so I've pretty much given up now.
