Happy Canada Day!
On June 20, 1867 (thank you Chernabog_ca), a proclamation signed by the Governor General, Lord Monck, called upon all Her Majesty's loving subjects throughout Canada to join in the celebration of the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada on July 1st.
Happy Canada Day!
:big grin:
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons/daughters command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."

Happy Canada Day Everyone !!
On June 20, 1868, a proclamation signed by the Governor General, Lord Monck, called upon all Her Majesty's loving subjects throughout Canada to join in the celebration of the anniversary of the formation of the union of the British North America provinces in a federation under the name of Canada on July 1st.
The July 1 holiday was established by statute in 1879, under the name Dominion Day.Last edited by j7wild; 06-30-2009 at 11:31 PM.

The Elisha Cuthbert thread(s) are down there somewhere.
If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.
