I have a very special treat for all you fans out there who love Sharon Stone and for all those who think that Sharon Stone is still a very hot woman. If "10 times" you mean "14 years" and by "sexier" you mean "older", you've got it spotted on.
Sharon's last good movie was "The Quick and the Dead", made 11 years ago. PERIOD.
Back then (in 1995) she's still hot (and that's when she should have made BI2). Now she's really on borderline of hotness.
Not to say I won't check out "Basic Instinct 2", just out of curiosity, nostalgia and sheerly cos I'm a horny bastard.

I can't remember if Casino came out before or after The Quick and the Dead (before checking IMDB). But Casino is more of a Scorsese/de Niro movie, and Broken Flowers (which I haven't seen) is more of a Bill Murray movie.
The Quick and the Dead is definitely the last good Sharon Stone vehicle movie, if not the last Sharon Stone vehicle movie before Basic Instinct 2. |

The Quick and the Dead - 10 February, Casino -22 November.
And I tell you - Casino is not more of Scorsese/de Niro movie - it's really Stone movie (Oscar/MTV Movie Awards nominations/ Golden Globe winner). OK "Broken Flowers" wasn't good example - she played supported, but great role.

Alright. Counting Casino in, Sharon's last great movie was still made 11 years ago.
The problem is, she looks (slightly) hotter in Catwoman than in some part of BI2, and that's really a handicap especially if the character Catherine Tramell is supposed to be the ultimate temptress.
I may change my mind when I see it this Friday. Until then I remain skeptical.

What I love is how she wants 3 copies of the picture - a video and DVD (When they come out) free and a 35mm print. Why would you want any?
