Movies with End Credits Extra Materials: Yay or Nay?
More and more movies nowadays are featuring Extra Materials during and/or after the end credits sequence.
This means moviegoers will want to stay in their seats until the final frame is shown and the lights FULLY come on.
But most people start leaving the theater as soon as the "Directed By" frame is shown on the screen.
Is it good or bad to feature extra materials during and/or after the end credits sequence?
I am the only person in my family who will stay in the theater until the final frame is shown.
I want to get my money worth!!
No one wants to go to the movies with me because they will have to wait for me to come out of the theater and nowadays, some of these credits can roll on for 10 minutes (or in the case of The Lords of the Ring, 20 minutes!!)
Here's a short list of recent movies that featured End Credits Material:
Flags of our Father
Monster House
Hostel
Crank
You, Me and Dupree
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
X-Men: The Last Stand
Over the Hedge
Slither
Cars
what do you think?

I like to see extra material mixed in with the credits. But I don't like to wait until after all of that text scrolls up before I see it.
Some movies will have bloopers and gag reels displayed on half of the screen while the other half is taken up by scrolling text. That's what I'd like to see more of.If you can stay calm, while all around you is chaos...then you probably haven't completely understood the seriousness of the situation.

I consider titles as a part of movie, never leave before last frame goes off. I like that moviemakers do this, even tho dont think its gonna somehow help keep those people who wanna pee in the halll

If you don't know it's there you won't miss it so why complain.
I'm a mog, half man, half dog, I am my own best friend.

speaking of it ...
after finally seeing superman returns, i must say that they should place the scene of lex and kitty on the island at the very end of the movie. currently it totally interrupts the flow at the end.
