Unless you find Sonny Corleone's highway toll scene (Godfather I) funny, mafia movies don't ahve much humor, buy the Soprano's DVD (all the seasons)

Hot Shots is a classic, and it's sequel is even better. Avoid Mafia though, it's a clear case of a film where very few jokes hit the mark.

I'd recommend some of the older films. Try Some Like It Hot, which sees Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis on the run from the mafia, and disguising themselves as women. Stars Marilyn Monroe, classic film and the guys playing the Gangsters used to play the gangsters in serious films too (Long time before Deniro started spoofing himself.

What about Friends and Family? What have people heard about that movie? I saw the trailer and it does look pretty funny.
