Has anybody seen this playing in any of their theatres?

I saw it at the beginning of DreamCatcher when I was down at Fort Benning. It's a 10 minute animated clip of being in the Matrix. Oustanding graphics.

Animatrix: Flight of the Osiris is great! A note that it is the only CGI part of the Animatrix. There are several other "episodes" that are anime-esque

Actualy, All the shorts have CGI elements... but, Osiris is the only one that is entirely CGI. And yeah, it's pretty good, but not as good as Second Renaissance.

The ANimatrix will only be avaiable on DvD
But the FInal flight of the osiris will be the opening of the Matrix Reloaded.

Just a few notes:
For those lucky Australians, you get to see Animatrix @ the cinema for a limited time.
On Fri May 9, Sat May 10 & Sun May 11, Animatrix will show @ Greater Union & Village.
@ GU, the participating cinemas will be
NSW: Burwood, MEGAPLEX Castle Hill, MEGAPLEX Macquarie
QLD: MEGAPLEX Chermside, MEGAPLEX Garden City, MEGAPLEX Indooroopilly
WA: MEGAPLEX Innaloo
SA: MEGAPLEX Marion

Not sure which Village cinema's will be showing but i'm guessing all of them since there aren't too many Village ones around.

EDIT: Tickets go on sale online on the 7th May. I guess we will see the real Matrix fans that go to these screenings.

Including Matrix1 will air as well a day before Matrix2 will air @ marked down ticket prices.

Well ppl, I guess next week is going to be jam packed Matrix week. Animatrix, Matrix1 & Matrix 2 .... and hoping to get a Matrix3 sneakpeek

Saw it in cinema (theatre for folks in US & Canada) last Friday. Freakin' awesome baby! The CG images of the Second Rennaisance is mind-boogling.

'Final Flight of the Osiris'... now that should be what Final Fantasy supposed to be!

'Matriculated' was an interesting one: what happens when the machine gets into simulation?

Anyway, I'm so glad I gotta see this on film on a big screen.

i think thats whats Matrix all about.. about a Sim with in a Sim.. like 13th Floor... but i am sure it will be all a surprise...
