:big grin: now that's funny...blatant and funny.
i really don't hate movies. well, anything directed by Joel Schumacher. but i tend to lean my dislike towards Hollywood and their lack of originality. there is all this money they make every year and they can't do better than remaking poor movies or remaking good movies and turning them into crap....please.
i am actually glad i don't have to pay to see movies or i would be really upset that there are few movies that come out that are worth the time and money to see them.

Sister Act II (snore.......)
My Giant (embarassingly bad)
Zoolander (way too stupid even for a stupid movie)
Judge Dredd (I am the law! ... give me a break)
I'm sure there are more, but those are the worst I can think of off the top of my head.

Kill Bill Volume 2-I expected an average film from Vol1 and was bored. I expected boredom from Vol 2 and was dissapointed. At least 1 didn't give you time to think, vol 2 was a poorly acted, poorly scripted, inconsistent mess. 1 minute the writing is designed the make us feel the terror of a woman buried alive, but the next were supposed to be in total in awe as Supergirl punches through 6 feet of dirt. Make up your mind whether it's an exagerated fantasy or gritty realism, because both ways do not mix.
As susual Tarantino's dialogue is extremely long winded without ever serving a point, but where's his usual energy? The McDonalds conversation in Pulp Fiction held appeal due to it's energy, not a single line of dialogue in KB2 had that energy and as a result was completely pointless.
Torque: Was supposed to be an energetic mindless action flick, was instead a horribly choregraphed mess, with totally charisma free stars, comnpletely badass free dialogue, and editing so choppy you may as well be playing hot patatoe. Let's not even think about the pathetic special effects.

I thought that Kill Bill Vol 2 was a much better movie than Vol 1, I felt that Vol 1 was just gore after gore after gore. (yawn). I want character development as well as action in my movies. Vol 2 had a lot of character development and fills you in on the whole back story of the characters, although it was not the best movies I have seen, I prefer it over Vol 1.

I have a new movie which i hate, Die Another Day. Saw it again recently, don't know why and saw how bad it was again, the only upside was the performences from Pierce, John Cleese and Judi Dench.

-Lost in Translation (and I usually love art films).
-Welcome to the Dollhouse
and I'll stick by whoever said 2001. It's a classic but it's so boring to watch.

Couldn't agree with you more. Denzel Washington played a great Frank Castle.
By the way, I'm new. (I can hear you all saying "really?!") Yep, it's true.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I hated Citizen Kane. That didn't make me popular in film class, but hey, it's how I feel.
Kane was boring, drawn out and put me to sleep more times than any other movie I've ever seen. I recognize that the tech advances in the movie were important, but hey...the Lumieres made short films about people leaving work that were technologically advanced, but no one called those films "the greatest films ever made." How does this happen?
Anyway, great site you've got here.
