Nice one, sm. Some disturbing v/o (which I've forgotten about)... although I prefer the more memorable (to me at least) arty original Italian theatrical trailer.
Bought this as a blind buy. I don't hate it, but don't have the urge of watching again.

bummer, i need to finally start getting some argento films. only one i have so far is dawn of the dead (euro cut)  and i always wanted to see his movies. ok guys, what would you recommend and which dvd is good? |

I really didn't care for Suspiria too much. There's some nice gore in it, but I was watching it with my friends and we couldn't help ourselves, we made fun of it the whole time. A ballet school where witches reside? I mean c'mon hehehe.
Honestly if you wannt the Argento experience, you have to check out Suspiria or Deep Red (Profondo Rosso). Although, many will argue that Opera, Inferno, or Tenebrae are truly his best films. You'll either love or hate his movies... or just make fun of them the whole time. Either way get ready for some awesome gore

If you get a chance, check out "Trauma". It is not as over the top as some of his other movies, but it has great suspense. It has Piper Laurie in a memorable role, and his daughter Asia in a topless scene. I guess the Italians are a little more liberal with sexuality, but when I saw that my jaw dropped.
