TRANSFORMERS teaser trailer is here...
And trust me, this is a tease in every sense of the word. Good Lord, I absolutely can not wait to see this. An HD-quality version should be available early next week, with the teaser debuting in theaters with Pirates II next Friday (the 7th)...

Any chance anyone can capture a downloadable version? Thanks!

How are you encoding it? I would like to encode it to Qucktime for my site.

Was just about to post about this myself! My software won't let me convert this flv into mpg or avi though, has anyone else managed to encode into qt, mpg, avi or any other format? (if possible not on rapidcon but another site - megaupload is pretty quick)

well I just watched it and I was far from impressed. It in fact was far from what I expected I was actually hoping to see something anything not this shadowy character kicking over the mars lander or whatever it did. It just didn't impress me at all and I felt kind of let down. oh well I'll just have to wait until an actual trailer is in released and hope it is alot better then this.

It's an "announcement teaser"
There most likely is NO footage to show yet.

what are the Transformers anyway?
I know they are machines that can take any shape (from watching a few episodes of the Cartoon series with my nephews and nieces) but specifically I am asking:
are they man made?
are they alien?
are they just machines with a humanoid inside controlling them or are they actually alive?
