This looks really awful. And really, really stupid. It will take a lot to change my feelings on this. Not even Summer Glau can save this.

Here are some video's from the serie:
Trailer #1 (youtube) (already posted above)
Trailer #2 (SWF)
Clip 1: Fooling John
Clip 2: John and Sarah
Clip 3: Fighting a Terminator
It's definately gonna screw up the Terminator timeline and continuity. They travel into the future in the serie. What does this have as impact?
The trailer showed us they go in with clothes and arrived naked. So in 'their' present 1998, there is already a time displacement machine? The only plausible reason for this is that the female Terminator build it, but I don't see this happening in the tv serie. DId Cyberdyne or some other company build one? If that's so, why doesn't SKYNET uses it much earlier in the war? Why does it wait for 2029, in the very end of its defeat?
So they travel to 2006, and the world is still our world, no post-apocalyptic ****. If that's the case, then the TDE would already be there for 2006 - 1998 = 8 years. I think that in those 8 years, at least someone may have stumbled upon it and did some tests with it. But if our trio is smart, they will set some timebomb that will destroy the TDE after they traveled into the future.
I'm going to continue on this point because it has more after thoughts. If they made a time travel machine that is able to travel into the future then they destroy all mankind's efforts in some way. Because if they can travel into the future, then SKYNET can also travel into the future in 2029. Meaning that even if mankind defeats SKYNET, SKYNET will able to live because if it is this incredible smart thinking machine, then it would already have thought of sending units into the future to preserve itself if it may be destroyed by humans at some point. Thus in order to secure itself of its survival, SKYNET will send a unit into the future for every decade. So a unit to 204, 2050, 2060, etc etc. This would mean that even if the humans destroy SKYNET, SKYNET will always be there to be back...
Here are more of my feelings towards this serie:
Between t2 and t3 there were no other terminators and now this serie already comes with 2 Terminators in the first episode.
The female terminator looks like ****... "Come with me if you wanna live" I mean, c'mon, did she say it with modern language slang like a human?
The guy terminator has his movements false and the guy terminator not killing sarah but just smashing her head... no no no The guy terminator should really learn to watch out for cars. He gets run over twice:
in the dyson footage (by Sarah) and in the trailer (by the female Terminator).
The trailer does indeed look awesome, however the storyline seems $hit. I will still watch it, I'm a huge Terminator fan. But I have my doubts...

Can that be a dream? I believe those scenes with the Terminator and the exploding background are a Sarah's dream. I don't know...

Must be a dream sequence. She would have not survived that blast if it was for real. Remember T1's ending, the Endo's hand still around Sarah's throat. It repeats itself here, so it will be a dream sequence.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Will Be Back for a Second Season
Great News for television geeks: Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be getting an second season after all. According to TV Guide, Fox informed the cast and crew on Saturday night of the renewal.
Update: Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly apparently made a comment earlier this week calling Terminator one of the “lead candidates” for renewal, and confirmed the fact they’ve “already started staffing on Sarah Connor. Reilly admitted that “it was an unusual season” but Sarah Connor “will end up finishing by far and away the strongest new drama of the season” while “other shows have not gotten the traction.”
Despite generally positive reviews from mainstream press, the show suffered a ratings drop from a 11.11 for the series premiere, 6.2 for the second episode, to a 5.0 for the season finale (which was actually up 0.6 points from two episodes prior). Most viewers agree that the show improved in the later episodes (which might explain the rating bump late into the season), with the introduction of Derek Thomas Reese, a Resistance fighter and the older brother of Kyle Reese, who was sent back in time by John Connor. Some fans were worried that Fox might pull the plug as the network has a history of being trigger happy.

I rather watch this show than American Idol or those stupid Reality Type Game Contest shows like Amazing Race, Big Brother, Survivor or any other Reality Shows on TV.

Amen to that! I don't understand the popularity of these "shows". Thank goodness for a large DVD library.

I knew Summer Glau's character was too good to killed off. I thought they are going to start the season with an all robotic version of her character and have it regaining her flesh like that bad guy did earlier in the season. What a waste of a storyline.
I so want to see someone from previous Terminator movies to make an appearance. Either Robert Patrick or Michael Beihn would be nice.
