Substation / 1200C

So if the preamplifier/processor is the brains and the power amplifier is the muscle, the RGPC Substation and 1200C must be the heart. And that it is! Shortly after installing the IsoGray system, we noticed a substantial drop in the noise floor allowing material to be played at a much lower volume while still preserving the intimacy. Bass seemed to be sharp and more defined. The midrange was very impressive and I felt the IsoGray system made its biggest improvements in this department. Vocals seemed to seperate from the sound stage making the over all feel of the music more realistic. Keeping in mind our system is dedicated for home theater use, the IsoGray system is truly put to the test. The system as a whole puts a huge demand on the 15 amp circuit and would shut down and or damage most convention line conditioners. Not once did the RGPC restrict the systems performance. Even with the most demanding material, our system never seemed strain. Yes the IsoGray system is more money then the average line conditioner and for a good reason! The RGPC IsoGray system not only corrected power issues, it improved the over all dynamics of our system.

RGPC SubStation 120-volt version

  • Rated at 2000 Watts, the 120-volt Substation is ideal for video distribution amps as well as power amps where total system power requirements do not exceed 2000 watts. It has a true isolated winding - No connection from secondary to Ground, hot or neutral. Should anything short to Ground, the SubStation floats that short to Ground and the short acts as a neutral.
