Plot: Set in France during the late 18th century, this is the tale of Jeanne de la Motte-Valois, a young woman who leaves her adopted home in search of what she suspects may be her royal heritage. Her curiosity soon finds her embroiled in a situation that includes her dishonest husband, a diamond necklace, a Cardinal, Marie Antoinette, and quite possibly... the beginnings of the French Revolution.
