Plot: The traveling vigilante known as El Mariachi is recruited by CIA Agent Sands to take a corrupt general who is in cahoots with a powerful drug lord, Barrillo, in an attempt to overthrow the president of Mexico. That, however, is just the surface story, as other layers of subterfuge and deception lurk, which all comes to a head in a violent series of confrontations.
