Agent Jane Blonde: A Playful Parody of All the Classic Spy Movies Ever

You know what they say about parodies: they are only based upon things that are really great. And parodies themselves can be great, too – just think of Airplane! (an Airport parody), Spaceballs (the only Star Wars parody ever created), and other works created by masters like Mel Brooks, Jim Abrahams, the Zucker brothers, and so on. As you might expect, spy flicks are not an exception when it comes to parodies. But sometimes parody comes from unexpected sources – like in the case of Agent Jane Blonde, a game you can try today at the Royal Vegas Casino.

All spy clichs in one simple casual game

Agent Jane Blonde is a five reel, three-row video slot machine with 9 win lines, which doesn’t allow it to have much of a backstory. Then again, there are spy movies that don’t have any either. But its reels are filled with the biggest collection of spy movie clichs you’ll ever find in a casual game. There is the pair of spy glasses, the C-4 chewing gum (this one is from “If Looks Could Kill” if I’m not mistaken), the Martini (shaken, not stirred), the spy wearable (an almost accurate prediction of the smartwatch – the game was released in 2010, years before wearables became a thing). Besides, the game has some definitely feminine spy gear on its reels, too – the bright red lipstick, and the Derringer, the lady spy’s best friend.

There’s action on the reels, too

The reels of the game depict Agent Jane Blonde in situations that you might expect from a spy-themed game. She’s seen diving next to a luxury yacht (probably belonging to a foreign official slash drug lord slash world dominating maniac), driving a bright pink sports car, exposing her… um… talent next to a luxury jet, manning a snowmobile (probably in Siberia), and infiltrating a warehouse armed to the teeth. As you might expect, her hair has a different color in each of these situations, showing that she is a master of disguise, too.

Where to try

The Agent Jane Blonde video slot machine, along with hundreds of others, can be tried free (or, if you like to take more risks, for real) at the Royal Vegas Casino Australia. Playing there is far less risky than going on a mission in Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Running under a license issued by the MGA, the Royal Vegas Casino is a reputable and safe gaming destination to visit. Besides, it has some of the most spectacular specials you can think of, taking you to places not even 007 (or any other spy featured in any other spy movie filled with classic clichs).
