    'Superman' Dies...

'Superman' star Christopher Reeve dead at 52
BEDFORD, New York (AP) -- Christopher Reeve, the star of the "Superman" movies whose near-fatal riding accident nine years ago turned him into a worldwide advocate for spinal cord research, died Sunday of heart failure, his publicist said. He was 52.
Wow... This is very sudden and unexpected... Farewell Reeve.

This hit me pretty bad. I leave with Dan Jurgens words:

"But most will remember this sad day as the day the proudest, most noble man they ever knew finally fell. For those who loved him -- one who would call him husband, one who would be his pal, or those who would call him son -- this is the darkest day they could ever imagine. They raised him to be a hero: to know the value of sacrifice, to know the value of life. And for those who served with Superman in the protection of all life comes the shock of a failure: the weight of being too late to help. For a city to live, a man had given his all and more. But it's too late. For this is the day that a Superman died." - Superman #75, 1992 (written by Dan Jurgens)

I'm sooo sad I just found out about this 30 minutes ago.

But he's definitely alive in spirit now. Walking around and everything.

    We'll miss you, superman..

yes it was a very terrible loss "the Death of Superman" was a world wide story in 1992 but unlike the factional version this was not a battle with a monster from beyond nor will it have a heroic return. This is a sad time for all and the legions of fans who grew up watching the films that made You believe a man can fly and gave a hero filled with hope and all that is good to kids just like I was, as an adult I can still watch the films with a smile and will share them with my kids some day. It is a shame and makes me somewhat sad to know with Warner Bros plains for a new Superman film that Christopher Reeve will not be around to see it when it opens in
theatres I only hope that it will be dedicated to him and speaking of film when he appeared with in the episode of Smallville entitled "Rosetta" it was in this fanboy’s view one of the greatest moments in the series and the Superman Mythology in general and will never be equalled or surpassed.

Thank you Christopher Reeve for everything I did not know you personally but
I wish to thank you for being a Superman and teaching us all to believe...
