Predator Restart?
http://www.latinoreview.com/
Without getting my own *** in trouble, here's a smallish bit of news. Twentieth Century Fox are in talks with Johnny McTiernan to do a new Predator film - not a sequel, not a remake, not a prequel; more of a restart. There's talk - based on a treatment that's floating around the traps - that it might fix on Dutch's (the guy from the first film, Arnie played) grown-up commando kid.
John Cena's (one of Vince McMahon's kids) name has been branded about for the lead - but it's early days. They apparently want to coax JMT away from The Thomas Crown Affair sequel, have offered him this hoping it'll do trick.

morph = change of shape (as in 'anamorphic').
Of course it means something.
And while we're at it:

There will not be a Directors cut, all the rumors about the director not getting his version in are false.
Thats what Ive heard atleast.Sgt. Johnny Beaufort: He says, "The Apaches are a great race," sir. "They've never been conquered. But it is not well for a nation to be always at war. The young men die... the women sing sad songs... and the old ones are hungry in the winter."

to me avp was a joke, even a director's cut can't help the fact that only about 20% of the film makes any sense
i think the original predator was a decent enough movie, can't say the same for 2 though. So they have a few options: 1) predator in the jungle just like in 1
2) predator in a city just like in 2 or 3) predator in space sort of like the alien movies

That's the whole point of the films, the aliens can not reproduce alone. They are parasites that breed off of other creatures, infusing a little Alien DNA and combining it with the DNA of a host in order to grow its offspring. That DNA from the host species would have a direct impact on the appearance, intelligence, aggression, and attack patterns. This is true whether the creature breeds with human, dog, predator, or some freaky psychic alien species with big elephant trunk (one of the books delves a little into the species found dead in the very first film. So yes, the ending to AVP was one of a select few things in the film that fit into the series.
As for the AVP film, well the writing was a joke, the acting horrendous and character boring, but the effects were amazing and the 2 species have retained their on screen presence. It was fun, which was all anyone had a right to expect. Thew world is gonna have to wait for a good AVP film, but in the mean time people should just enjoy seeing the movie worlds 2 coolest monsters kicking the crap outa each other.
