Favorite Bad Sequels

This was something that I was thinking about today. What are the best of the worst sequels ever made? Tell me your favorites. However, there are some rules... 1) It has to be a sequel and not a spin-off (Sorry, Elektra fans) 2) It has to be a "bad film" (ie Godfather Part II doesn't count but Godfather Part III does) 3)A series of movies does not make a sequel (ie The Bond movies don't count because there is no running character thread from film to film, yet Friday the 13th does)

Alien3 gets knocked all of the time, but I loved it. I really don't understand the criticism. I guess if the third movie isn't a carbon copy of the first two then it's not good. Resurection was truer to the first two and it was a piece of crap.

I like Juenet's work and his version had it's moments, but Fincher's version was much more representative of the series. If the series is about Ripley and the Aliens, then what a fitting way to end it by plunging them both into the magma....brilliant!

P.S. Leathel Weopan 4 was really bad.................keep it on the list. Riggs was a total wus in that one.

I'm a huge fan of Alien3. I'm not putting these movies on the list because they are bad sequels alone. I truly enjoy all ten of these films! I like Lethal Weapon 4, but it isn't as good as the others (even three... to a point). But it was blasted by critics, so it will stay on the list whether people like the film or not.
