    Play Apple Quicktime without QT-Player

    Hi!

I'm tired of using Apple QuickTime Player to play the mov-files. I just want to use PowerDVD. This way I can create playlists and it is always playing in fullscreen mode.

But PowerDVD seems not to be able to play MOV-files. The file-menu shows that MOV-files can be opened (pic). But why doesn't it work. I use PowerDVD XP (German version).

I'm going crazy soon! It must be possible.

Does anybody here have an idea?

If not, is it possible to play MOV files with another prog that can also play DVDs like Zoomplayer or WinDVD?

there no other way to play QT4,5,6 sorenso 1 and 3other than the player from Apple .....they can only be played using QT from apple, this is because it is a licensed codec.... sorry about it

what u can do it to convert all your QT sorenso movie trailer to a diff format using radgametools.... but this process is to long.....

Power DVD, WinDVD play all files that are playable with Media Player, actually PowerDVD and WinDVD just use media player

    Damn

I must say, that I'm very disappointed of Apple. They should make a better player, which I can use.

Converting to another format is also possible, but not solution number one.

    Really no chance?

Actually... Apple is smart in doing this and looking after its program. I won't be surprised if QT transmits details to Apple. Its a big program and takes alot of PC resources.
I understand how u feel. Wish everything can be played by 1 player.
