    Grizzly Man (Werner Herzog)

Release Date: August 12, 2005 (limited)
    Studio: Lions Gate Films
    Director: Werner Herzog
    Starring: Timothy Treadwell, Amie Huguenard
    MPAA Rating: R for language
Timothy Treadwell's death was as sensational as his life: Having presumed he could live safely among the grizzly bears of the Alaskan wilderness, the outdoorsman and author (Among Grizzlies)--along with his partner, Amie Huguenard--was eventually killed and devoured by one of the very animals to whom he had devoted years of study.

This film does not have the audio tape. According to reports, local athourities in Alaska have refused to ever make the tape public. The movie does have a medical examiner talking about the tape.

Personally, as I've heard the story I don't want to hear the tape.
It's a bit like September 11th. When something that could only happen in movies happens in real life, it generally chills you to the bone.

holy crap i live in alaska and i go hunting in the wilderness sometimes. The other day i was out in the middle of nowhere hunting for small game, and i had a shotgun only... i thought what if a bear comes, 2 shotgun shells loaded in the barrel wont take down a bear. so i took out the plug in magazine so i could load 5 shells... and maybe 5 would be enough to take one down if it came at me, headshots from up close. well, no bear came, but u never know up here.

If i watch this movie i think id be too afraid to tread very far off road again. so i will probably not see this film, im better off not letting it scare me ;p
