    Yep, Nolan is directing.

I don't mind Ledger. He's been doing a lot better than a few years ago.

The Dark Knight is the best title!

Has there been any word on whether Gary Oldman and Michael Caine will be returning as whatever rank Gordon and Alfred respectively? And what about the guy who invented the Batmobile and other gadgets?

"Batman: The Dark Knight" is fine by me.

I'm very excited about this movie. I'm going to trust in Chris Nolan that he will do The Joker right.

I always thought Gary Oldman would've made a better villain than a cop.

I disagree. He brought so much heart to Gordon. Besides Bale, Oldman was my favorite casting decision.

I have to disagree with that, but only so far as to squeeze in Morgan Freeman between Bale and Oldman. Then again, I have always liked Freeman. And I must say I had my doubts when I heard Michael Cain was going to be Alfred, but he did a good job as well.

Maybe I am just easy to please.

And not to get off subject too much, but I never really had a problem with Katie Holmes in Batman Begins. Oh, she was hardly the greatest actress in the world, and I hardly think she got snubbed by the Oscars or anything, and I won't shed a tear if she isn't in the sequel, but I just didn't find her as bad as some people seem to indicate. Maybe it is because I never watched Dawson's Creek and never watched any other movie with her in it, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

im with all of you that agree that Heth ledger will do a good job playing the joker. the christopher nolan did a fine job with the first batman, and included amazing, great actors. His acting will work out just as good as the first one, and it always does.

This is what Heath Ledger had to say about his role:

"I wouldn't have thought of me, either. But it's obviously not going to be what Jack Nicholson did. It's going to be more nuanced and dark and more along the lines of a Clockwork Orange kind of feel. Which is, I think, what the comic book was after: less about his laugh and more about his eyes."

Sounds good to me. Joker isn't suppose to be funny, he's suppose to be down right scary

I agree. Whatever he looks like, Joker is not a clown.

I don't know, I defintely dig Nolan as a director, but some of his choices such as this new one and Robin Williams in Insomnia...take me a while to warm up to.

    Time will tell.
