That is a pretty cool poster. But I had always pictured the black suit having a more organic look to it. Not just another color of his regular suit. Maybe smoother, or more leather-like.

I was hoping for that too, like in the cartoons or comics.

But I'm not exactly DISAPPOINTED either....I'm indifferent.

Well here is how the "Movie Suit" will most likely work.

We all know that black symbiote suit will change to anything you think of. for example if you wanted to be in a 3 peice bussiness suit the symbiote will change to look like that. now in the comics when Spider-Man got the symbiote he though of a Spider-Man Suit and hence forth it gave him a version of what "it thought" he was thinking about which was the smooth black suit with the white spider. Now this idea will probably be put in the movie in some form or another, becasue you see when Peter is wearing the symbiote and he thinks about his Spider-Man suit the symbiote will probably reach into Peter's mind and pick out what a Spider-Man suit would look like compleate with the raised webbing/spider and textures the only thing different is that it will be black instead of red and blue.

If I had to guess, i'd say Venom won't even be in this movie. I'm not sure how they would be able to adequately fit 2 villains into 2 (or 2.5) hours. This isn't Batman Forever.

The movie will probably concentrate more on Parker's internal struggle (as the teaser suggests) along with the new girl and the sand dude.

Possibly leave the idea of Venom towards the end for a possible sequel.

Still, Venom is one of my favorite baddies. I would like very much to see him on the big screen.

SuperheroHype! reported that Sony Pictures has sent a new backlit lenticular Spider-Man 3 poster to select theaters in North America, which features Spidey's chest as it changes from red to black, depending on the angle from which it's viewed.

Just came back to see Pirates of the Caribbean and i saw the Spidey 3 poster... Man... i HAVE to get me of of these!!!

2 be honest, I am almost sure we will see venom, and I say it will be very often...u know, Raimi is crazy about such a creatures, I dont think he might just leave such an oportunity to work with one of most incredible bad guyz of SM universe

Yeasterday I saw a little quote on 1 of the sites in my country..
It was Tobey Maguire's quote. He said that the ending will be open for another stories so if the ideas will be good, maybe they can make another movie..

But I think that we will see Venom. But maybe not for too long..

I wonder how would Tobey Maguire look over the Maximum Carnage [pretty boy in bloodbath]

Yeah, I was wrong. Sam Raimi and Topher Grace have both spoken out about how Venom will be the main villain in Spidey 3.

Is it just me or does Peters new hair style bother anyone else!! He doesnt even really look like the same peter parker anymore, or the same actor
