    Possible Microsoft to buyout Sony

    I didn't believe when I saw this until read this article.

    A buyout is a busniess term basically making a business a wholly owned, subsidiary of another firm.

    Honestly, after reading the article - I don't know where they get the idea that microsoft specifically will purchase sony. It seems like a really big assumption.

    Given Microsoft's business - I would expect, were a buyout to occur, only the consumer electronics division would be purchased.
