Very interesting. I'll be anxious to see what people think about it. Certainly nothing that makes we worry that the movie won't be great, it just didn't blow me away the way I was hoping...

I dont think that was ever promised (correct me if I am wrong). That was fan speculation due to the fact he was shown in the Comic Con Trailer

I haven't tried the 480 or the 1080.

and I must say, I'm disappointed. After Spidey2 trailer I was dying to watch it, but now I can only say "maybe...". Too much is in this trailer and not too much. I don't know how to explain this better, but trailer has disappointed me.

I actually missed the trailer because I tuned in to CBS at 9:57 and waited until 10:05. Nothing. Just when I turn my back, they air it.

I really love Venom as a character, but you can't have too many villains in one movie. It's better that they introduce Eddie Brock as a rival in this movie, and then maybe show Venom at the very end so we can concentrate the entire Spiderman 4 movie on him.
