It isn't too far from happening now.

Our county recently loaded information onto a website, so now, all sorts of information is readily available, and you don't even have to know a person's name first. You can just start browsing by subdivision.

Information includes name, address, name of subdivision, size of the property, type of house on the property (including how many stories, square footage, number of rooms, number of kitchen and bathroom fixtures), a list of former owners, value of the property, tax history, sale price, house footprint on the property, and even aerial photos. And it is all "public record".

If you want to look me up, just cut the last letter off my username and search for that. It will find me.

Well I'm not too worried. The US has plenty of stringent privacy regulations when it comes to most things. As far as the rest goes it's not anything your neighbor wouldn't know.

IMHO it should be a law to prove your sexually transmitted disease status to your partner but that's just my opinion.

And if someone insulted me over the phone I'd just call their manager and get them fired, simple as that.
