Help "cleaning up" a poor-quality song

I'm going to try to tell this in "long story short" format, so sorry if it doesn't make sense.

In 2003, the Sci-Fi channel aired a commercial for the "movies of 2004" with the tagline "Imagination Lives". In this commercial, some EXTREMELY beautiful music was playing. I taped the commercial for the sole sake of the song, and was content with that. However, lo and behold, that spot on my tape got erased shortly after and I lost my beloved song.

I then spent I-don't-know-how-long scouring the Internet looking for the song. It turns out that NO ONE has any idea what it is, or where to find it. To make a very long story short, I was out of luck.

Then a few days ago I was watching an old home-movie on my old camcorder, and what do you know, but that song is playing in the background!!! I've found my song at last! So I transferred it onto the computer, and here it is:

The only problem is, since it was "bootlegged" (for the lack of a better term), the quality isn't that great. Considering the circumstances, it's not bad... but if I try to turn up the volume or anything, it get's really fuzzy.

So does anyone know how to "clean up" the track to make it sound better? I'd like it to be much clearer than it is. Can anyone help me with that? I'd be really grateful!!!!

It's a nice song but the quality is so far out that it will probably won't make alot of difference working on it to enhance the quality.
Anyway, I would advise you to use a combination of Nero Wave Editor and Audacity. Nero wave editor comes with the Nero burn package and audacity is freeware, you can find it on www.sourceforge.org. Nero wave editor has an excellent "de-hisser" (fuzzy sound when played loud), audacity also has some intersting options.

However I would advise to keep looking for the song, try some (large) music forums and ask people there, sometimes I go to www.streamingsoundracks.com and ask, but those people are mostly moviemusic specialists and your clip defenitly isn't moviemusic.
