Wedding opening dance song - help

Hi guys, in two months my brother gets married and his girlfriend has recently asked me to pick some decent songs for her to choose from. She doesn't want songs that are too stereotype, so no Celine Dion, Phil Collins, Moody Blues, Barry White.... . I already have some songs in mind but it would help to get some more ideas, so do you guys (girls) have some sugestions? These are some examples I'm thinking of:

    -John Denver- Annie's Song
    - Crowded House- Don't Dream It's Over
-Elvis Presley- You Were Always On My Mind
    - Dave Berry - The Crying Game
-Hot Chocolate - It Started With A Kiss
I'm a mog, half man, half dog, I am my own best friend.

Our song (which we actually had sung during the wedding ceremony) is "A Whole New World". It was the "love song" featured in the Disney movie "Aladdin".

Of course, we were married more than 9 years ago... it was a little closer to the release of Aladdin.

Actually I just got married last September,
    My wife and I chose,
"Ever The Same" by Rob Thomas.
Listen to the words, It's a great song.

    Others that were considered:

"Baby Im Amazed" by Paul McCartny
"Truly Madly Deeply" by Savage Garden

    Good Luck

If the bride and groom have a sense of humor, there are some really good "Weird Al" Yankovic songs.

Probably the most appropriate for a wedding is "Good Enough for Now", although "I Was Only Kidding" is good too. "You Make Me" is pretty good, too, but it isn't very romantic. His latest love song is "Do I Creep You Out?". And then there is my personal favorite, "One More Minute".

It might be a bit early for "Alimony" "You Don't Love Me Anymore" and "Since You've Been Gone".

The Weird Al Yankovic sugestion is very original, I don't know if the bride has this kind of sense of humor but my brother does.
I've been asking the same question on a music forum and I've been getting some realy strange proposals, like for example "Lust For Life" by Iggy Pop or "Shake It Up" by Cars, same goes with "Highway To Hell" by AC/DC. Haazhel, how can you dance a slow on that song

Generally not, but it is a good wedding-song. But with the harmonica-song you can dance slow.
