How to block hot ads?

I am having a problem with the ML site. On the last days I am finding lots of hot ads. If I was alone with the machine I will have no problem but on an internet café it can be a trouble. I have blocked some previous hot ads in the past with a function of Firefox web browser ("Block images from site...", but I don't remember if it is a extension or it comes with Firefox), but those were simple banners, maybe in *.jpg or *.gif formats. The new ones I am having problems with are in Adobe Flash Player 9 format and I don't know what to do.

My Firewall 'Agnitum Outpost' blocks all adds for me so all I see are blank white bars

If you get any other questionable ads, find out where they are served from and/or take a screengrab.
We are working hard to make sure they no longer appear, and this will help us track them down if they do.

I use the following recepy, take firefox, mix it with some adblock and nocscript, enhance with greasemonkey and spice it up with some decent greasemonkey scripts and you'll have a very clean surfing experience.

No, Jax, I have not followed your indications because I am in an internet café, as I said above, and just some days ago someone deleted my DownloadHelper add-on on the Firefox browser I use.

I don't want to spend time now configuring other people's PCs, anyway. After JPB last post on this thread some days passed without those ads on ML. I believe he can do something and since he asked to inform him if this happened again, I am notifying it here.

j7wild, the problem is not the speed. The problem is this: some people around me start to see me in a strange way when they found me looking at this page with those ads. Remember that here lots of persons don't understand English, specially children. Sometimes I need to hide even your avatar to avoid uncomfortable situations.

I totally understand your situation, and I don't want those ads showing up either.
We have filters in place to get rid of those, but sometimes some slip through. Let me know if it keep happening (no need for screencaps), but if you could grab the url (i know its difficult when it's flash) that also helps.

j7wild, I have the same problem with my previous signature, so it is not only your avatar. Please don't think it is a heavy problem.
