Wow... I would love to be able to play .ogg files on my MP3 player, and I bet that I could connect this up to a Linux program to add (or remove) music*. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will run on my player just yet. The fact that they a page for my player is encouraging, but it looks like I will have to wait a bit longer (or get a newer player).

    * - Actually, I can add and remove all the music I want from my player using Linux, but any music I add isn't seen by my player, and any music I remove can't be found by my player because I can't update the player's database.

    Yay!!!!

I got my new MP3 player today. It is a SanDisk Sansa e260. Rockbox works with version 1 of the e260, and with the e260R (both of which are no longer produced), but not with the e260v2, which is currently being produced. I fully expected to get a v2, but I got a v1 instead! Some may be upset with getting an older version, but in this case, I am happier I got an older one.

Rockbox is loaded, and it works great!
