Another Hint That Cars 2 Is In The Works!

The swench blog points out that a comment left on the Jungle Book Documentary (and some musings on pacing in animated film) post on the Temple of the Seven Golden Camels blog by a Pixar story artist who says:

CARS
ended up a big financial success, (they are making a secqual already because the merchandise have been fenomenal)


So there’s another hint that a Cars 2 is in the works at Pixar!

I think its not really great idea. They should be doing one movie per theme, why make sequels when they have so many good ideas?

Toy Story 2 was good and there will be third part, but I can agree with you. With just one exception - I WANT MONSTERS INC. 2!!!

This is probably not true as they are already making another movie. Pixar also said they do not make sequels nor believe in them. They said this behind Incredibles as it has created such a massive fan base. Everyone wants to do n c Incredibles 2 but only Pixar said no. Probably because it didn't have such a wider audience for the kids as for the adults.

out of like 10 movies they made 2 were sequels and third is on the way. Nope, I really dont believe they dont believe in them. AND I DONT WANT INCREDIBLES 2 SINCE ITS BEST PIXAR

Um, they said that before Disney purchased Pixar, and Disney has been crazy with sequels the last few years. So I wouldn't rule out anything just yet.

I'm not sure where they would go with Cars. Monsters Inc. could lend itself to a sequel, as could the Incredibles and Toy Story. Not sure about the sequel power of A Bug's Life or Finding Nemo.

As long as the story is good I would not mind, and that's what Pixar focuses on the most, the story. If I hear that Pixar is making a Cars 2 then I'll be happy because I know there is heart in Pixar.
