Well, my collection is a bit harder to see, since I don't keep them in the boxes. I have 3 multi-disc dvd players, which hold 200, 200 and 301 dvds each.

Here is our media collection (excluding software). Our DVDs and pre-recorded videos are mixed in together, followed by videos we recorded, followed by CDs, followed by cassettes.

    Hey Kn'Thrak -

I noticed a lot of your DVDs have a greyish white opaque case. Is this common for R4 DVDs?

In the US it's mostly black cases, with kids movies being solid white a lot of the time.

Yeah I noticed that too a while ago. R4 DVD have mostly clear cases but the old ones were black cases like the R1 currently are. I find the clear ones better because they are thinner and don't crach as easy as the black ones. Plus, the clear ones r replaceable with black clear ones being sold at shops.
Overall, I found the R4 cases more durable.

But I do like the new R1 cases with those 2 snap locks on the side. At first, I was trying to open the R1 case in the dark then I turned on the light to see the cases now have those 2 locks on em. LOL!
