Exclamation Is this even humanly possible?

wouldn't your body and brain turn to mush by the time you are done?

sitting there for so long with just a few minutes between each movie, your back will break, your arteries will clog up.

then your brain will shut down and your eyes will bug out!

I wonder how many morons going to do this!!

I would imagine/hope there would be a sort of intermission between each movie.I imagine that comes to about 10 hours each day. Once or twice I pulled out my LOTR Extended Editions and had a marathon of sorts that lasted at least 12 hours and I am still alive.

The cinema I work at is showing each film each day up to release. Its good as you get to pick and choose which ones you'd like to seem. e.g. I love the 3rd film so will definitely be going to see that.

Sorcererís Stone at 11:00a (152 min); Chamber of Secrets at 2:15p (161 min); so there is only about 40 min between those two....

it's different at home where you can take regular breaks, a nap, eat good food, bathe, pause the movie, etc

If the main character in a movie is not a female then j7wild seems to spit on that movie. So that is entirely possible

All 8 movies in 2 days with a long 40 minute break between the movies? I would do that. A HP movie night, that would be great. But no chance in my hometown.

My personal cinema-movienight-record is Star Trek 1 - 7 in one night and a half day. Only 20-30 minutes break between each movie.

they did it for LOTR extended when return of the king came out - something like 7+ hours with only a 20 minute break in between the movies - AND the theater was sold out (250+ seats) ... so something as appealing as HP could do it. it will be the last time it is shown on the big screen, so there is an incentive as well.

If you have only seen the first movie, then is this the best way to watch them all.

    Enjoy!

Well I've done an annual party watching an entire season of Lost in a day, that is approximately 17.5 hours for the earlier seasons which have 25 episodes, I've also done Rocky, LOTR Extended Edition, Rambo, and Die Hard marathons. Harry Potter shouldn't be much more difficult than Lost as it is only marginally longer at a total of 19.7 hours (1178 minutes).

it's not being afraid of my wife!

it's about being a father and when you have children, you don't leave your wife to take care of the kids by herself for 2 days to go see 8-9 movies.

    it's also about being responsible!!

one day when you are married, you will find out for yourself!!
