    that little scroll left and right slide show thing between the blue menu and the top of the forum is slowing down the website when you scroll down the threads

    Once it's cached, it should speed up.
    It's also temporary as we find more things to put up there.

    You'll have to bare with me for a little bit, as there are still a lot of little things to be tweaked.

    i'm actually starting to hate the way the movie banners pop over the menu bar at the top and i am really hating that stupid pop-up (or pop-below) that shows up the first time i click on anything on the site.

    Sorry, but I dont see what you are referring to with the first bit, I dont have anything overlapping the menu bar?
    As for the second part, I guess you are referring to the CHAT bar a la Facebook, unfortunately I was told by JPB that the only way that this could be implemented was with a refresh for every screen.
