The music is a custom piece done by Sencit Music (composed by Mike Zarin).

Weird, do you know if they used any of Hans Zimmer's themes or were they inspired by them.... or perhaps it was the other way around....

EDIT: It appears he "wrote" the music for the first teaser. I am not sure about the 2 trailers after that.

I couldn't find anything more specific I'm afraid. And I wasn't able to find anything about the other 2 trailers, which is slightly frustrating :/

Post Nothing New — WB’s Encode

    Inception Domestic Trailer 3
    QuickTime: Small | Medium | Large | 480p | 720p | 1080p
    Windows Media: Small | Medium | Large | 480p, Zipped | 720p, Zipped | 1080p, Zipped

Note: Basically, the studio (Warner Bros.) makes no distinction between Teasers and Trailers, classification being thus simpler: Trailer 1, Trailer 2, Trailer 3… Otherwise, in this case, one can use the trailer names of the Official Site, which are “Teaser Trailer One” and “Teaser Trailer Two” for the first two trailers.

This is the international version of the so-called “Characters” featurette, which is actually a Two-Minute TV Spot.

Just a heads up about the music used in these trailers. The second trailer is actually a theme from the movie, but they all use elements from Hans Zimmer's score (not sure if the theme from the third trailer is a direct theme from the film or not though). So I am guessing they took Zimmer's demo's, and had other composers work them for the trailers.
