Adaptation

So I've been seeing people on other boards saying they've seem previews of this (with Spike Jonze on hand to answer questions--jealous) anyway....has anyone hear seen it and want to chime in with a review? I'm exceedingly curious!

umm... is "adaptation" the title? spike jonze..? he's an enigmatic fellow, i think i saw his name on some movie i recently saw. i think it was pumpkin.

From what I know, the next Spike Jonze film is called Adaptation.

This seems like an interesting movie to see. Nicholas Cage plays two characters, two brothers to be more specific. He stretches his acting talent to the limit playing the writer Charlie Kaufman, a depressed, lonely and pathetic man, who has trouble in any social situation, alongside Cage's potrayal of Donald Kaufman, the polar opposite of Charlie. During an interview, Cage said that he tried to make the brothers opposites, but not outlandishly so. The relationship between the two characters needed to be more organic, to make it more believeable.

I would see this movie purely to see what Cage does with the roles. An interesting note, is that the screenplay is actually written by the two brothers.

Best part about Spike Jonze is that he can make a film like Being John M. and then turn around and produce Jackass!
