    MPEG is the best general format. Hardly no compression. Plus.. its good for those ppl that want to watch the trailers on their DVD player.

    The reason we do the MPEG trailers is to please those people who can't run Quicktime for one reason or another. I get requests for them every week.

    So it's not better quality (converting from mov to mpg), but it's a different format, which is those people need.
