    I'm a bit worried j7wild.

    I was hoping Avatar would get some acting nominations (for Zoe Saldana or Stephen Lang). With no acting nominations, the chances are slimmer.

    The DGA award went to Bigelow so she is the front runner for the Best Director. Not good.

    If it doesn't win VFX, I will riot too

    I also see some odd choices here:

    Best Music nomination for The Hurt Locker?!? Really?
    No nomination for Best Make-Up for District 9
    "I See You" should be nominated for Best Song.

    Those Morons at the Academy probably figured Avatar is CGI so there was no acting required on the part of the actors and actresses!!

    Yeah, I have a feeling they didn't really get how it was all done. If they did, they would give Oscar to Andy Serkis for Gollum or Kong.
