From the creators of Elephant's Dream and Big Buck Bunny comes the next open movie project, Sintel.

This is just the trailer, but like their previous two releases, Sintel will be a computer animated short done entirely with free and open source software (the 3D computer animation program Blender being the most prominent).

Elephant's Dream was visually interesting but made no sense. Big Buck Bunny was a humorous story involving a large rabbit and three troublesome rodents. With Sintel, they are branching into the fantasy genre.
