The Film

THE ART OF GETTING BY is the story of maudlin teen George who, non-content with the trappings of being a young man in modern society, decides to taking slacking off to an all new, existential level. All's going well until two things bulldoze into his life: the first being his school's stern warning of expulsion unless he gets his act together, and the second being the doe-eyed Sally (Emma Roberts), who immediately steals George's heart and turns his world upside down (or rightside up, depending on where you're standing).
