Synopsis

A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

There is no Trailer 2, it could have been scrapped, Internet Exclusive, or simply recut to a point that they had to rename it to #3, who knows.
We try to keep the naming convention the same as the studio references, the same applies to "Teasers" which is hardly used in North America any longer.
Most trailers are not totally identical either, missing a word, item or frame, different angle of a scene, etc... A few of these get caught by members if you read the threads, but the differences are so minimal, it probably simply gets a Revision change, Trailer Number remains the same.

See "Despicable Me" thread, all three trailers released had differences depending on where you got it from, Yahoo, Apple, etc.
Same with "Salt" jumping from the overpass to the top of the truck, 3 different angles of her landing on it, but you had to be extremely attentive to see the split second difference.

It has never been released.
Or it has been released in theaters, but not on the Internet. For example, the first trailer (“Trailer #1”) for Focus Features’ One Day was released in theaters and Shrubz gave us here an encode, but it never been officially released online. Moreover, the studio asked Movie-List to remove it because Yahoo! Movies was just about to put online “Trailer #2.”
