direct links...??

i know that Movie-List has a problem with the studios complaining about direct links... so i have a suggestion :

i was at another site with the same problem and they replaced some letters with ** so that it would not be a direct link (hence the link would not work). then, the user would have to copy and paste the link and change the ** into the letters that were missing. like this...

h**p://www.directlink.com/hereitis.mov

would that be something to think about, even as a temp fix. that way, JP can say "we don't post direct links," and not be lying.

Well, I still think that the studios would still consider it a 'Direct-Link' because you are not going to There site.

But heck it's worth a try.
