    The Film

    Captain Duke Hauser (Channing Tatum) and his G.I. Joe team are set up and targeted for destruction when the President of the United States (Jonathan Pryce) gives orders to have them terminated, thanks to the influence of Cobra spy Zartan. The survivors team up with Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) to bring Zartan down and save the world.

    I heard the release date has been pushed back to March 2013 so they can convert this movie to 3D.

    Remember what happened to Clash of the Titans after they up-converted it to 3D?

    The reason Clash of the Titan's 3D was crap was because they RUSHED the conversion job due to announcing it at the last minute practically, not because it was converted to 3D in the first place. 3D conversion can be done well if given enough time and effort, like with Harry Potter and Captain America, for example. I'm kinda glad that Paramount doesn't want to rush the 3D conversion with this, thus avoiding the same mistake they made with The Last Airbender (even though that movie STILL sucked balls, anyway), but at the same time we kinda don't NEED the 3D conversion. Ah, well. As long as the movie's good, I'll have no problem with this in the long run.
