    In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her.     Just like Alice in Wonderland, they try to make the heroine into a warrior type of person...
    Ok, for not being a damsel in distress, but I think this is too much.

    For Mirror, mirror, maybe I'm the only one to have a good feeling about this one. For Snow White and the Huntsman, I don't know, at least, it cannot be worst than Alice. I'm not a fan the Stewart or Hemsworth, but I'm sure Theron can make this film watchable for me. But again, not a fan of Snow White turning into a warrior, CGI... I hope the story is good, really good. But I think Mirror will be more my type.

    It's interesting how Universal Pictures always seems to be one step ahead of Relativity with the promotional material despite this film being released later than Mirror, Mirror.

    Yes, I was a little curious about that too but they are still doing filming on Snow White and the Huntsman. I find it very impressive that there's already a trailer out! And apparently there will be point-of-view trailers from each of the main characters (so we can expect 2 more?).

    I am nervous about Kristen... I want her to do well and I know she's capable of great work if she puts her mind to it but she does have bad acting habits that need to disappear. I'm hoping she raises the bar for herself really high knowing she's around major players (Theron, Toby Jones, Bob Hoskins etc.). Right now her performance is my only concern about the film. If she can avoid those little habits of hers, she'll do great.

    To me, the only thing that appears to be similar to Alice in Wonderland are the posters. The trailer and little cinematography I've seen seems to give off a different atmosphere - like a mix of Lord of the Rings, Joan of Arc and Stardust.

    Yes, there's a warrior aspect in this one too but I think it works better here than it did in Alice in Wonderland.

    Anyway, let's hope both Snow White films are good so that all the fans are happy regardless of which one they're looking forward to the most.
