<s>I would like to see him do more stuff lol. </s>

It's actually 1080i with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling. And very odd dimensions too.
    Width : 1 259 pixels
    Original width : 1 280 pixels
    Height : 1 062 pixels
    Original height : 1 080 pixels
Not even the 1888 width that the description shows.

I'll wait until someone does a proper encode.

I recently watched the Mad Max movies. The second one was by far the best of the three. The first one was decent, but nothing great. Nevertheless I can see why it is such a cult hit. The third Mad Max was a mess. The worst part of Beyond Thunderdome was Tina Turner's acting.

I'm very interested in seeing what George Miller has in store for this next Mad Max movie. He is older and wiser and a much more skilled filmaker than he was when he made the previous Mad Max movies. Hopefully we see some of that skill in the next Mad Max movie and he is able to make the best of all the Mad Max movies. Or at least I hope it is as good as the second one.

I am sure the experiences he gained making two Happy Feet films and Babe the Pig will come in very handy!

Why wouldn't they? Happy Feet and Babe were both critically acclaimed and award nominated movies. It matters not that these were family movies.

    ^Agreed.

PG-13 really just ruins films and makes them obscure.
Robocop reboot was decent. But not worth the hype since it was just a cash-cow machine.
    A poor one at that.

Films rated R develop a solid story more than theater puppets for kids.
    Kids have Dreamworks/Disney/Pixar cash-cows.

    Let us have ours!

I don't totally agree, you can still make a good movie without having an "R" or "NC17" rating, the Original Mad Max was an "R".
An "R" rating is simply one up from PG13.
You can usually still keep the same elements, but blacking out the red for the blood where it is abundant, and you can still cut someones head off, but with no splattering or gushing a la Kill Bill.

Regardless, that's what IMDB is for.

In cases of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Man of Steel, I was pretty suprised by the amount of violence in it while maintaining a PG-13 rating.

They did a good job with the rating they had and they were still enjoyable.

I'll still see this, regardless of rating. (but knowing teenagers won't be there by the 10's is comforting.)
