About

When aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper has to call on his childhood best friend, ‘80s video game champion Sam Brenner, now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders to defeat the aliens and save the planet.

I hope the movie is better than the trailer, because this seriously looks dumb, Lego movie this is not.
I can see an attraction for kids, but how they expect to keep their Parents awake, that's the question.

This looks very different that what I thought it would be.
It looks like some expensive youtube production. Freddiew looks like he was invovled.

The graphics look neat-ish. Probably will be fun to see in 3D for the glitter and glamour of the CG.

Either way, I don't think the live action fits in.
If they would have done something similar to "Tron", maybe..... or on the opposite spectrum like the "Lego Movie" and "Wreck-It Ralph", that would have worked as well, but this????
It's only the first trailer, but my anticipation level for this movie is absolutely zero at this stage.
