    Well, this looks so much better than the 1976 Barbara Streisand version which was the second remake of the original 1937 film.

    This was originally a project in 2011 by director Clint Eastwood with Beyonce in the lead female role but she got pregnant so Eastwood dropped out in 2015 when the movie languished in development hell.

    Lady Gaga replaced Beyonce which is definitely a good thing.

    At one time Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp were in talks to take the lead male role which is not a good thing, thank God they didn't get cast.

    May be an academy awards nominee comes next February?
