TV & Streaming Series
I am sorry Jacques1400 for placing this question on this forum section; but I was unsure exactly were to ask this question. I am grabbing at straws here but I was wondering if anyone has heard of any online or brick and mortar Canadian stores who will be carrying the season DVD and/Blu-rays of Season 1 of The Orville https://www.amazon.com/The-Orville-S...70_&dpSrc=srch and Season 1 of The Gifted https://www.amazon.com/Gifted-Season...70_&dpSrc=srch . At this time I do not see any Canadian stores online like Amazon Canada or brick and mortar Best Buy offering these titles; any information would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a trick, Amazon uses an ASIN number (Amazon Standard Identification Number), which in theory and for the most part will reflect the same product on any Amazon site worldwide, if it's an Amazon catalogue entry.
If you have an Amazon.com ASIN, then simply search Amazon.ca with it.
https://www.amazon.ca/Gifted-Season-...rds=B0765JXG9P
It's listed as an import because you used a US generated ASIN, if no other listing shows up otherwise, it might not make it as a standard release in Canada for various reasons, or it could simply be available later once someone purchases the distribution rights. Either way, you can pre-order the US edition from Amazon.ca
If you are serious about getting a copy, I would pre-order it while it's available, imports can simply show up as a pre-order and never get re-stocked. I found that out the hard way on many occasions, or you can hope that a reseller will offer it.
As for "The Orville", nothing shows up, but it might become available through an Amazon reseller as well at a later date. Not too many retailers in Canada deal with imports, but I know Cinema 1 can sometimes work some magic, usually at a premium unfortunately.
I can't see through walls, but I can kick your ass.

Thank you Jacques1400 for this information about Amazon using an ASIN number; that being said I may go to the CINEMA 1 in my area first. I have fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of them working some of their magic; I have been able to receive many anime and hard to get titles through them. Though as you stated is usually at a premium and sometimes certain new releases like Star Wars Rebels: Season 4 Blu-ray and Dark Matter: Season 3 Blu-ray do not arrive at the same time as Best Buy and Sunrise Records unfortunately. Which at times makes it hard to stay a loyal customer and end up going elsewhere but what can you do if they do not have what you want. At any rate Thank you again for your helpful information.
