Don't want to get anyone's hopes up as this is not live anywhere as I can see - checked both BBCAN and BBUS but the artwork was released a couple of days ago and it appears they are double dipping with not one but two releases depicting the two main characters...

I would think this would go live any day now with the release date Oct. 22nd

Best Buy US doesn't sell movies anymore, if anything it will be a Walmart Exclusive on the American side.

That's the UK Edition, they probably only had a handful anyway, I checked around and it's up for pre-order at other International retailers, not sold-out. Nothing in North America yet.

Yeah, but importantly its available via the US storefront which ships to Canada, which hasn't always been the case with Zavvi over the past couple of years. This is a fallback pre-order for me...

Maybe so, at some ludicrous price ($60 CDN each) and Shipping cost probably using DHL to boot, I absolutely refuse to support them since they dropped shipping outside of the UK.
BTW, looks like the release date has been revised to November 4, 2024

Thank gawd this is available via Amazon here. I can't get over the feeling that BB US stopping doing physical media is a blessing for us - i.e. I believe they had an exclusive NA distributions for Disney Steelbook movies and now they stopped its freed up Disney to release via Amazon.

Well it did free up some of the Marvel releases, but not all.

Walmart US is releasing a crap load of exclusives similar to what Future Shop did, when Canada was the King of SteelBooks in North America.

As for Disney, it's a Hit & Miss, the latest being "Inside Out 2." Sure we can get a copy from Amazon US at 70USD, but it makes for a pretty hefty purchase at a landed price of $120 Cdn.
Even the Americans were complaining about the high price for this one, at over $50 when it got released.

I think they raised the price. Amazon's listing was originally $44.99, and now it's showing as $67.99 each.

Correct, release price was $45 on release + taxes for those who get charged, but it didn't take long for the price to go up since it was selling like hotcakes. There's a supply issue with movies in general, more so with SteelBooks, not sure what's causing it, but every time they run out of stock, the replenishment is priced way up.
